BIOGRAPHY
Graduated: Wichita University (Physics B.S.). I began with Boeing, Cessna and Beechcraft as a sheet metal smith and then as a model maker for the wind tunnel, while attending Wichita University. I entered the U.S. Navy and became a carrier pilot – flying AD Skyraider, F-9 Cougars, A-4’s and A-7’s. I did exchange duty with U.S Army in Vietnam. Retired as a Commander USN in 1972. I am Past President of the Corporations - Wesco, Teldecon and OceanAir Airline. I also founded Trade Zone Surplus Sales Corporation – dealing in machinery and tools.
MODEL AIRCRAFT EXPERIENCE:
First model 1937 – Taylorcraft Comet Kit. Competed in numerous “Nationals” and twice selected for Plymouth Internationals and six Top Gun Events. Editor of the AMA Speed Column 1975-76.
